Yes, it’s ture. There are a lot of plugins for Wordpress that let your users interact with Social Bookmarking sites, but as soon as I looked at Hey Silver, I started loving its new way of proposing content.

Hey Silver, for those who don’t know, is a great Javascript class that allow the creation of a navigation menu. Typing SHIFT+SPACEBAR, using mootools library, will be displayed a layer containing a menu, navigable both with mouse and keyboard which looks QuickSilver of Mac OS.

What I did is just packing the whole thing, solving some compatibility issue (mootools and Jquery still do not love each other so much even in compatibility mode), adding some php function to interact with Wordpress database and get connected with Social Bookmarking sites APIs.

This is my first Wordpress plugin, for now there’s no administration panel, but I hope to develop it as soon as possibile. For those who are interestes, on this page there’s everything you need to add Hey Social to your Wordpress installation.
