Sidu - Mysql Client
Lug 15, 2008 I Net, Open Source.
Sidu is an Open Source Mysql client, completely programmed in Php. Even if it can not be compared to PhpMyAdmin, Sidu offers advanced Javascript gestures, tables sorting and a simply interface, easy to use.
One particular that captured my attention is the presente of a pre-login dialog, which allow to access and modify connection datas, which can be saved directly to the platform.
Great is also the position given to the shell to send query to the tables while consulting them, refreshing just the frame interested by the query. Also there is a nice history which show the latest queries and operations, and a quick menu reachable with a mouseover on the sidu logo which allow to open quickly the connections, help and export/import pages.
Looking at the screenshot of the main window of Sidu, you can notice the precence, if you’re looking at a table structure, of the code to export the table, so that you can quickly duplicate it.
The tree structure of the tables is also very pleasant, giving you the possibility to expand / implode all of them together.
To know more about this interesting project I suggest you to visit the official site, where you can also find an online demo.
